1/16 scale reproduction of the Dodge command car WC56. Easily modified to fit on a WPL type RC chassis. Supplied with the map table and its mapbox but you can mount instead the BC659 radio (SCR 610) and its MP48 antenna support available here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/rc-tank-emeteur-recepteur-scr-610-bc-659-jeep-1-6-1-16-et-1-18 Possible use of 4 ball bearings of 10*6*3mm or of the shims provided (4 beering 10*6*3mm). The Dodge model "Command Car" series WC-56 and WC-57 was used for liaison and staff officer transport duties in almost all American and Allied combat units. The vehicle had a seating capacity of five and was equipped with a map table, allowing officers to follow the progress of operations on the battlefield. A tarp and removable canvas side doors completed the body and made it a fully discoverable vehicle, facilitating tactical movement in all weather. Dodge trucks are one of the achievements of the formidable war machine of the United States. The extreme standardization applied to these machines will make them key players in the same way as the Jeep and GMC on all battlefields. The main qualities of the Dodge remain its reliability and robustness whatever the climatic conditions in the theater of operations.
