Dodge Warlock II Keychain
thingiverse
So my mom's got a super rare 1979 Dodge Warlock II, that awesome red one you see in the pictures! I've got some cool history about this truck for those interested. There's literally no mass-produced merchandise out there for this car, so she recently bought a custom jacket with the logo on it and had a vinyl sticker cut for a mug that matches the paint. My buddy Jimmy was awesome enough to trace the logo decal on wood signs (check out the photos below), which inspired me. I wanted to make something special for her too, so I took the SVG logo file that Jimmy traced and designed a little replica of the wood plaque as a 3D printed keychain. It wasn't easy - I made one failed prototype that was hard to read later - but I landed on a design I loved. I know it's not super creative, but there's nowhere else to buy anything like this, and I'm stoked that I could make something unique thanks to 3D printing! "The Dodge Warlock was produced from '76 to '79, even though the '79 said Warlock II on the tailgate. The Li'l Red, made in '78 & '79, really caught people's attention and has become a super popular truck to this day. Meanwhile, the Warlock wasn't as well-loved and has become an almost mythical vehicle. It's one of the most misunderstood cars to come along in quite some time."
