The "Digital Cuban Cars" series kicks off with this installment. The Dodge Coronet made its debut, sporting the division's first post-war body designs. A single type of engine was available for Dodge - a flat-head straight six-cylinder engine measuring 230 cubic inches or 3,800 cc. This engine featured a single-barrel Stromberg carburetor and produced a gross 103 horsepower or 77 kW. The stock Dodge Coronet proved to be a smooth-running vehicle, capable of propelling the car up to 90 miles per hour or more.
