Dodecahedron Speaker
thingiverse
This project was created using the versatile software, 123D Design, and then seamlessly transferred to Tinkercad for online editing: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/b8z0ifJ86dO, https://www.tinkercad.com/things/hbhyS3CjNgG. To assemble a dodecahedron speaker, you will need the following components: 9 standard dodecahedron modules 3 dodecahedron modules with holes for cables and mounting 60 hexagon nuts M4 60 threaded bolts 4 mm x 16 mm (the bolt head must have a diameter less than 7 mm) 12 DaytonAudio ND91-4 speakers, each equipped with sealing tape 3.5 meters of sealing tape for mounting between the modules 48 tapping screws 3.5 mm x 9.5 mm (these will be used to attach the chassis to the modules; they should have a length less than 10 mm) 2 meters of speaker cable for connecting the chassis together 1 speaker cable for external connection If you are using a 4 Ohm chassis, you can achieve an overall impedance of 5.33 Ohms by making three parallel connections of four serially connected chassis.
