Dodecahedral Cups The Lewis Elementary School invited me to demonstrate 3D design and printing for a group of young children on their Discovery Day. I needed some designs that would capture kids' imagination and mathematical appeal. The dodecahedron came to mind, so I tweaked it to entertain the children. These cups look great and are easy to print. Others might find them intriguing, so here they are. Among the Files 1. The measurement (30mm, 20mm) refers to a face pentagon's circum-radius. 2. Dodecahedral cup with a handle. 3. Dodecahedral cup with an integrated straw and handle. 4. Dodecahedral cup with a twisted neck (10mm). 5. Four cups have "Lewis" written on them. Printing PLA filament works well for printing these cups. Flexible TPU can also be used to create flexible cups.
