Dodeca Bird House
pinshape
This geometric bird house was crafted with precision using the "solid" library in Python. It produces OpenSCAD files, which can then be effortlessly converted into STL format for 3D printing enthusiasts. The code is highly customizable, allowing users to tweak parameters to suit their specific needs within the Python script itself. Example STL files are thoughtfully included for those looking to create a cozy home for sparrow-sized birds. The bird house can be mounted securely on a wall using screws or attached directly to a branch for a more rustic look. To assemble the bird house, simply glue both parts together using epoxy or opt for a more modern approach by printing the entire structure with a UV printer. Please note that this is a Python-based project, not OpenSCAD. The generated SCAD files can be used as input for OpenSCAD to produce STL files. Future updates are in the works, including the addition of a Raspberry Pi camera mount – your feedback on this feature would be greatly appreciated! Due to platform restrictions, the Python file has been renamed from .py to .py.txt, and SCAD files have been removed; you will need to regenerate them manually.
