sketchfab
Exposed area of outcrop located near Wooler Golf Club to the southeast of Doddington, Northumberland, was uncovered during excavations in the 1980s. Cobbles from an Iron Age camp overlaid previously unknown carvings, logically the carvings predated the IA monument. Listed as 'Dod Law Excavation Site A' on the Beckensall Archive, it was added to ERA in 2008: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=48. Historic England has scheduled the carvings and the Iron Age camp: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1002946. This model showcases 'area 2' on site A, created from four stereo pairs captured by Kevin Malloy in June 2007. The imagery forms part of the NADRAP / ERA archive.
