Doctor Who TARDIS Enclosure For Sabrent Hard Drive Enclosure

After ripping all of my Doctor Who DVDs to an external hard drive for faster and easier access, I thought it would only be fitting if the hard drive was nestled within a Doctor Who TARDIS enclosure. I designed this custom enclosure specifically with a Sabrent 2.5-Inch SATA to USB 3.0 External Hard Drive Enclosure in mind but it could easily be adapted for use with any case, requiring either slight modification or none at all. I had envisioned the light from the drive's activity indicator LED casting an ethereal glow through the window, but unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. However, if you opt for a translucent blue plastic, like I did, the LED does manage to shine through with a soft blue hue. There are two distinct versions of this enclosure available. One is designed to rest flat on your desk, while the other stands upright, with the hard drive seamlessly integrating into its one-piece case from the top. Whichever version you choose, be sure to also print out the beacon_insert and window insert, as well as the notice. Please note that due to either a Thingiverse glitch or more likely shadowbanning, my models no longer appear in the [Newest] listings.
