Hi everyone, I've created a replica of the iconic Sonic Screwdriver, and I'm thrilled to say that it (almost) works like a charm. Check out the demo video below to see it in action! The original Sonic Screwdriver was wielded by the Tenth Doctor Who, played by David Tennant from 2005 to 2010. You'll find detailed instructions on what's needed, how to print, and how to assemble in the PDF manual that comes with this project. Since I didn't have access to silver-colored filament and transparent blue, I had to get creative, which is explained in the instruction manual. Feel free to skip the painting and fiddling by simply ordering the right colored PLA. The flashing LEDs were made using a bicycle light, and I've included a picture of the one I used. Depending on your version, you might need either the 2-battery pack or the 4-battery pack. I printed the box using ColorFabb Woodfill, and two versions are available for download. I used the 2mm version with a paperclip to create the hinges, but you can also use the 3mm version with a piece of filament to achieve the same effect. Have fun building your own Sonic Screwdriver! Best, Marco
