I just added a flat stand to the whale so my friend can display it on his desk. It took about 2 hours to print, and I left the scale unchanged - the model is 7 cm (2.75 in) long. Unfortunately, when I removed the supports, the tail of the whale broke off, which was my fault. So, I glued it back together and hope my friend never notices. I printed the whale vertically, which might seem unusual, but it reduced the number of supports needed and shortened the printing time significantly.
