Dock shelter, platform shelter, N scale (1/160)
pinshape
Model of a dock shelter with canopy. There is a main part (with three pillars) and an extension (with two pillars) that can be added as many times as necessary to suit your needs regarding lenght (simple cyano gluing, connection shoulder provided, just glue upside down against a flat surface). The translucent roof of this shelter is to be printed in natural PLA and fits perfectly on the structure. Small square rings come to adjust the height of the canopy to keep a clearance with passenger carriages and locomotives (ring to duplicate in cura or other). The pillars are glued in 3mm holes to be made in the dock (example of dock presented : pine rod + gray sanded coating + PLA borders) The files are to be printed scaling the files at 10% to obtain N scale (1/160) (no problem on a 20x20cm bed). The intended material is PLA, the filling is 100%. You need to print the structures upwards, with supports (see photo). It is useful to set 1mm overhang in width of the supports (cura option) to better support the intermediate thin structure. A wide enough brim is recommended. The translucent roof is to be printed standing vertically (see photo) with just a brim. "Purchasing is temporarily disabled" here but it seems to last, so the model is also available on another site (search "stl files").
