Dock for VW mobile phone preparation mount

This is a custom piece for the mobile phone mount on my Volkswagen CC's dashboard. Feel free to get creative with this design. I created it as a decorative spot where you can easily attach a suction cup base for a GoPro or smartphone holder, for instance. The problem is that the dashboard is too rough to directly stick a suction cup base. To resolve this issue, I repurposed an old aluminum sign plate and transformed it into something unique. Simply cut out the plate, brush it with a brass brush, sandblast or airbrush your desired design, and seal it with clear lacquer. Then, glue it onto the dock you printed.
