Here's a simple Dobson mount that adjusts friction perfectly, I'm thrilled with its performance so far. I've been using it on my Newton 114/900 and it's made a huge difference compared to the EQ1 and EQ2 mounts. To enhance stability, I've added Teflon pads from Stabilit and some gliders from Ikea.
