This adapter was engineered to accommodate either a 4010 or 4020 fan within the CNC or laser head. As part of my laser unit upgrade, I swapped out the original 0.5W laser for an Eleksmaker 2.5W model and found it necessary to implement additional cooling measures. Furthermore, the extra fan effectively disperses smoke away from the printer. Nevertheless, a dedicated 12V power supply is required to energize the fans.
