Do You See What I See?
thingiverse
Human Perception is deeply ingrained in human existence. The eyes function as the primary tool for understanding our surroundings, offering a distinctly unique viewpoint. Humans are accustomed to experiencing life through their own singular point of view - a first person perspective that moves directly before them. This consistent mode of perceiving reality leads humans to believe that their line of sight presents an objectively true image of the world. The prospect of two individuals having their vision reversed sparks intriguing questions: how would their perception be affected, and could they even find each other in crowded spaces? Moreover, what would occur if an individual's point of view was altered - as seen through a third person lens or camera? Although their body performs identical actions, the shift in perspective creates an uncanny feeling. Even when their actual movements are overlooked by external observers, this sense remains intense. The scientific explanations behind sight are logically sound, yet the manner in which brains process visual data is subjectively distinct to each individual. Can there be a single universally true way of perceiving reality?
