Do nothing Machine
thingiverse
This Do-Nothing Machine variation is inspired by RayRaywasHere's original design. Due to technical difficulties, I had to list my version as a new creation rather than as a derivative. Regardless, this is still based on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5103. Notably, I replaced the shuttle's pin with a hole for the Pin/Rivet I designed and enlarged the arm holes to accommodate rivets. The base remains unchanged from the original design, which I found delightful to print and test. For printing, you'll need one base, one arm, and two shuttles. To ensure proper cooling of small shafts, I suggest printing six pins at once, maximizing your Do-Nothing potential! Carefully clean up the base and shuttle with a knife, file, or sandpaper before assembling. Attach one shuttle to the base using a rivet, then secure the second arm to the second shuttle with another rivet. Enjoy your Do-Nothing Machine!
