DnD Tokens

thingiverse

My D&D group has always relied on verbal descriptions, but as our combat encounters grew more complex, we found it increasingly difficult to keep track of the action. To simplify things, I created a set of tokens for each class, making it easier to visualize the battlefield and anticipate upcoming moves. I also utilize a separate token set specifically designed for groups of enemies, another for bosses, and one for non-player characters or regular foes. These tokens help streamline our combat experience by providing a clear visual representation of the situation on hand. To further enhance our gameplay, I employ a custom-made initiative tower from Thingiverse, accessible at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3237206, which enables us to easily track player and enemy initiative. Additionally, I use another Thingiverse design, available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2916907, to represent the boundaries of combat, providing a clear visual indicator of the playing area. These tokens and tools can be tailored to suit our group's preferences using OpenSCAD, allowing us to fine-tune our experience and make the most of our D&D sessions.
