DnD polyhedral dice box

DnD polyhedral dice box

I crafted this box to seamlessly encase my polyhedral dice set for Dungeons & Dragons, drawing inspiration from Victorian flair and Martin guitar bridge designs. The symbol atop is a runic D, the first letter of my name. It demands support to print, and can be quite stubborn to remove, but anyone with suitable tools should be able to manage. A considerable amount of sanding was required to achieve the perfectly interlocking lid and body that moves smoothly yet remains secure. I employed bike chain lubricant to facilitate this process. I've discovered that acrylic paint works best on PLA material. Optional, but a great addition: I've recently taken up leatherworking, so I added a pad at the bottom with a diamond-quilted pattern and a pre-made skull design insert inside, which I painted red.
