Why was this project created? In our large D&D group, there was often confusion during battles when determining the turn order. To improve the gameplay, I developed this initiative tracker that allows the Dungeon Master to efficiently manage the order of player turns.Summary of FeaturesThe set includes the following functionalities:Initiative tracker for players:Each player can have their own tracker with the respective class symbol, allowing them to conveniently set their initiative.Initiative tracker for monsters:Each monster has an individual tracker. This tracker can:Track initiativeMake the monster easily identifiable on the boardTrack health or damage pointsTrackers can be visibly placed on the Dungeon Master's screen. This ensures every player knows when their turn is coming up and can prepare accordingly. After a campaign, the trackers can be disassembled to replace the class symbols as needed.Suggested WorkflowA battle begins. The DM distributes the trackers to all players. Each player rolls for initiative and sets the result on their tracker. The DM selects the appropriate number of monster trackers. The DM rolls initiative for each monster.Players return their trackers to the DM, who arranges them along with the monster trackers on the DM screen. The DM distributes the colored monster rings and assigns each monster on the board a specific ring. The DM sets the number rings on the monster trackers to 0.The battle begins.Whenever a monster takes damage, the DM adds the damage to the current total and adjusts the number rings of the respective monster.Once a monster is defeated, the DM removes its tracker from the screen.Detailed DescriptionGeneral Assembly of TrackersEach tracker uses the same BackPlate.stl.Select the appropriate symbol (e.g., SymbolCleric.stl) and insert it into the cutout of the BackPlate.stl.To remove the symbol, screw 2 M2 screws into the two holes. These will push the symbol out of the BackPlate. The screws are only needed for disassembly.Using the BasicSymbol.stl file, additional symbols can easily be created.Use the GroundPlate.stl for player trackers and the GroundPlateThreeWheels.stl for monster trackers. After printing, carefully break free the springs.Insert the appropriate number wheels into the plate:NumberWheel10.stl and NumberWheel3.stl for the player tracker.NumberWheelThreeWheels.stl for the monster tracker.Print the corresponding CoverPlate and slide it into the GroundPlate.Insert the required number of NumberKey.stl into the slots of the number wheels.Slide the front and back plates together.Additional Details for Monster TrackersPrint a matching pair of DeamonRing....stl and DeamonCollar....stl.Slide the DeamonCollar... around the neck of the monster tracker. The matching ring can be placed around the corresponding monster during battle. If the protruding symbol is painted black or white, the combination of ring color and symbol makes it easy to identify the respective monster on the battlefield.I hope this initiative tracker helps make your D&D sessions even smoother and more enjoyable!Versions2024.02.28 - initial version2025.01.07 - added tracker von monster.
