This kit comes together with just two parts: a male and female connector that fit snugly into the center of the helix. Users can either press it flat or shape it into a helix, allowing for a dynamic representation of DNA's double helix structure during replication as well as an RNA single helix. A comparable DNA kit is available online, however, it lacks customizability in terms of length and costs $70. In contrast, printing this kit using PLA costs approximately 50 cents.
