This kit contains a total of eight nucleotides, with four of each base - adenine (A), guanine (G), cytosine (C) and thymine (T). The top and bottom caps are designed to accommodate an 8-base pair long DNA strand. To ensure accuracy, the nucleotide bases are labeled, with purines A and G represented twice as frequently as pyrimidines C and T. To achieve a consistent helix structure for both strands, the squares on the top and bottom of the kit are angled at 45 degrees. Applying glue is still recommended to secure the strands in place. For an added touch, consider printing the DNA sequence using standard colors - red for thymine (T), green for adenine (A), blue for cytosine (C) and yellow for guanine (G). These colors are commonly used in fluorescent DNA sequencing.
