Model of a DNA molecule is a three-dimensional representation of its double helix structure. It consists of two strands of nucleotides twisted together, forming a spiral staircase-like shape. The sugar and phosphate molecules that make up the backbone of each strand are located on the outside, while the nitrogenous bases - adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine - project inward from the center, paired with their complementary bases on the opposite strand.
