DNA Helix PEN Holder - bigger version of pencil version

This is an updated design for pens measuring 12.2mm in diameter, based on my existing 8mm pencil model. Check out the redesign here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1803253 I'm thrilled to announce that I've finally completed a successful print and uploaded a photo of it. To confirm, I've tested this design using four different slicers - Simplify3D, Slic3r, ffslicer, and skeinforge - and all have produced excellent results. Here's the recommended printing process: Print the "DNA_Helix_Pen_Holder_12mm_BothParts01.stl" STL file. Once the print is complete, carefully remove two parts from the print bed. The outer part is the bottom of the helix, while the inner part is the top. Assemble the parts using glue or your preferred adhesive to ensure a secure bond. I used super glue for this purpose. Insert your pens and display your beautiful design. If you're interested in creating a Sharpie version, simply scale up the STL file(s) by 10% to achieve holes of approximately 13.4mm in diameter.
