DNA 200 Dual Battery Mod
thingiverse
I have yet to print this, but designed it to be a dual battery DNA 200 mod or other board that shares the same dimensions. It was modeled in OnShape with great precision. Designed to conceal any screws from view when the battery door is removed, and also to hide wires entirely. I intended it to use Keystone 209 leaf spring battery tabs for seamless integration. The screws holding the DNA board and the mod together measure precisely 5mm in length and 1.7mm according to the DNA 200 board datasheet specifications. The mod accommodates a Fat Daddy v4 low profile 510 connector with ease. The buttons, measuring 8mm and 5mm respectively, are an external component that I've purchased from eBay, not designed by me. A magnetic battery door is envisioned, utilizing 3mm diameter x 1mm height magnets for secure closure. The part holding the DNA board must be printed face down due to its orientation; however, I will reupload once I figure out how to rotate it correctly. Updated information: The DNAHolder_1 now features 1.45mm holes in the holder part for use with #0 mounting screws, which are commonly used by most people in the US for secure mounting. Additionally, a worded battery door is included for both the DNA 200 and DNA 250 models.
