The Swissmicros DM41L calculator introduces a fresh take on the classic HP41 programmable calculator. One of the valuable features you can utilize is assigning a key on the keyboard to a specific function or program, making it easier to recall assignments with an overlay that can be placed over the keyboard and handwritten with details about each button's purpose. To facilitate this process, I have developed a Fusion360 design that allows for CNC or Laser cutting of a template from suitable materials. The attached images showcase a prototype created using my CNC router on photographic paper, awaiting delivery of thin white plastic to create more refined versions. The Fusion360 project is available at the link https://a360.co/2Ku8Dit, also accessible as DM41L Overlay v6.f3d, along with GCode output files DM41L Overlay v6.gcode and DM41L_Outline.tap, which are GCode text files. An .stl file is included for 3D printing the template to verify sizing.
