DM4 microscope to Bausch&Lomb base adapter

DM4 microscope to Bausch&Lomb base adapter

A simple adapter plate to fit a cheap DM4 microscope to an old stand from a Bausch&Lomb microscope I had around. It is a nice solution, because the stand is very stable and has several lighting options. The adapter has a hole for a M3 hexnut/M3 screw to clamp the microscope (optional). I designed the adapter to be press-fit on a vise (i.e. you would also need a vise to remove it or destroy it in the process). I decided to have my DM4 sit flat on the adapter, which works very well (microscope_adapter_DM4_large.stl). microscope_adapter_DM4.stl uses the smaller lower diameter of the DM4, if you want to mount it that way.
