My son is crafting a screen using foam-core, which is 5mm thick, to create an impressive display. I customized these panels by attaching a 6mm clip with chamfers on the inside edges, making it effortless to assemble them. The 6mm width ensures smooth sliding motion back and forth. When remixing the STL files, I also corrected some of the parts, but the final outcome should remain identical. I also designed a thin wall to support the top of the clip, eliminating the need for supports during printing. You may need to enable "detect thin walls" in your slicer to ensure they print correctly, but once printed, they remove easily and provide excellent support for a clean bridge when printing the first floor layer of the top part of the clip. The project includes a dice tower with channels to hold 5mm foam core board.
