I've created a custom fan duct for my DIY solder fume extractor, using MariusHornberger's design from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3283786. This way, you can set up your workbench without cluttering it with the bulky fume extractor itself. Instead, build your own air hose using this fan duct. Keep in mind that this is a fun project and won't replace a commercial-grade solder fume extractor.
