This is a straightforward alternative installation for the DLink DCS-930L webcam (or comparable model) onto a metal base utilizing two neodymium magnets. The camera holder remains securely in position due to strong magnetic force, thereby rendering unnecessary any complicated clips for the magnets. I make use of this configuration combined with a Wi-Fi based switch to remotely monitor extended prints and instantly halt the printer should anything go wrong.
