I'm installing my ignition this way and it's working out great for me. I've been using Harbor Freight's velcro wrap through the slot to secure it tightly in place so it doesn't fall out. For added stability, I opted to use socket head servo screws to attach it to the fire wall, but you can choose whatever method works best for your setup since the tray comes with countersunk mounting holes.
