DK Makers Face Shield

DK Makers vs Corona is a team of volunteers in Denmark who have come together to tackle the shortage of protective equipment for our healthcare system. About 2,000 dedicated individuals have worked together to produce and distribute this visor to the Health Service until there was no longer a shortage. The goal has now been achieved! All of this started with this visor! A huge thank you goes out to the original creator, HanochH: https://www.thingiverse.com/HanochH/about The team has collaborated and developed the product to better fit our healthcare system in Denmark. Initially, the design turned into Version 0.8.4: Here's a new design of the elastic holder since Danish makers use pant elastic, making it easier with one larger hole. Next, the product was further improved into version 0.9.1: This design aimed to create a bracket and brow piece that could be printed better with a 0.6mm nozzle. The bracket and brow piece were designed to be exactly 1.4mm thick in all layers. Additionally, an opening was made in the elastic holder so closed elastics could be used as there was a shortage of pant elastic. The Danish dentists reported that they wanted a visor with a longer shade so their glasses and lights could be under the visor. This led to the development of Dentist version 0.9. In total, over 80,000 visors have been produced in the Danish Makers group. We've now gone into standby mode but are ready if the need arises!
