Do you prefer using a custom circular viewfinder like the D800's DK-21, or sticking with the standard one on your Nikon Dx000 or D300, D6x0 or D750? While it won't work with DK-17 accessories, the design looks sleek. To protect my glasses and achieve a smoother finish, I added a plumber's washer to the custom viewfinder - unfortunately, it fell off when using the D750. The print was fragile, so I decided to split it into two easy-to-assemble pieces instead of trying to glue everything together in one piece.
