This is a workable support for Samsung Galaxy S7 active and the phantom 3 Standard remote. It can also hold other phones securely in place. To assemble the slide, you will need two #6-32 .75" machine screws and two #6-32 hex nuts. Additionally, one #8-32 1" machine screw and nut are required to connect your bracket to the remote unit. The holder supports a wide range of devices, from phones that are 3 inches wide up to tablets measuring 5.5 inches in width. It even accommodates an iPad mini with its 7-inch screen size. Updated information: As of February 18th, 2017, this design has been revised to include an adapter for smaller phone sizes. However, it will no longer fit phones or tablets that are 2.25 to 5.5 inches wide. You'll need to glue the adapter in place securely. To complete your project, you'll have to purchase a mounting bracket from eBay or Amazon separately.
