I designed a protective bracket in Sketchup make for my DJI Phantom 3's mini-HDMI connector to prevent accidental damage when using an HDMI adapter. The printed PLA bracket snapped securely into place on its first try, giving me confidence in its design and material choice. My camera skills are still a work in progress - the photos aren't perfect, but they get the point across. Next up is attaching the HDMI cable with a zip-tie or equivalent solution to keep everything tidy.
