DJI Phantom Low Skid Landing Gear
thingiverse
The Phantom DJI's skid landing gear has been redesigned, with the default legs remodeled in SpaceClaim 2012+ software and printed using a UP! plus 3D printer. The "Leg1.stl" file can be used for three of the legs, while the "Leg2Compass.stl" is designed to connect the DJI Compass. If you'd like the files in SketchUp (with rounded edges removed) or Rhino format, feel free to request. The stock landing gear weighs 42 grams, but the re-printed low skid version weighs only 28 grams. Additionally, a new leg design, "leg1holo.stl", has been created which is just 4 grams in weight. Currently, a long version of the landing gear is being developed to accommodate a GoPro and gimbal. A video of an indoor test flight can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjErJctlSV8. To line up the legs for printing, consider using the 3D print tool from http://apps.123dapp.com/3dprint/install.html.
