This is a Custom Battery Box for my Phantom FC40, designed to quadruple my battery capacity. So far, I've flown my Phantom with these installed without any issues, but I'm still missing the extra battery to test it fully. As soon as I receive the additional power pack, I plan to create an in-depth tutorial and post a video of this mod on YouTube. Instructions for Installing This Battery Box are as follows: I designed the model using TurboCAD and created an STL file from it. Once I had printed out the object, I had to enlarge it by 2600% to achieve the desired dimensions. The legs required an equally dramatic increase of 2400%. For a seamless fit, I trimmed down the lids slightly, and for added stability, I secured them with some reinforcements - maybe later adding a detent to secure them firmly in place, too.
