DJI Phantom 3 Samsung S7 Phone Hood Shade
thingiverse
I crafted a phone cradle specifically for my DJI phantom 3 standard remote control, tailored to fit snugly around my Samsung S7 Edge with its protective cover securely in place. The result is remarkably effective and stays firmly attached thanks to the holder, which expertly keeps both the phone and the hood stable. This design may also be suitable for other phones, considering the interior dimensions are 157mm wide by 76.5mm high when the phone is oriented in landscape mode. If you decide to print this cradle, I'd appreciate it if you could share a picture of your creation with me. I'm thrilled that this project came together, and I'm eager to see how others bring it to life. Print Settings: Printer: Da Vinci 1.0a Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 15% Notes: To minimize warping during the printing process, I recommend printing at a slower pace. In my initial print, I encountered some warping issues, but adjusting the speed should help prevent this problem. Design Process: I designed this phone cradle using Fusion 360, a powerful tool that allowed me to bring my vision to life with precision and control.
