This is a fully functional DJI Phantom replica body for the Hubsan x4 that is currently in development. This project consists of two distinct halves that must be fastened together using small screws or rubber bands to achieve completion. The camera has been designed with flexibility in mind, capable of being mounted facing forward, straight down, and at any angle in between. All components were successfully printed at the highest possible resolution I could manage on my printer (0.2mm nozzle), resulting in a lightweight yet incredibly strong case. LED lights will be integrated onto the bottom to provide the pilot with visual cues about the quadcopter's orientation in flight. The motor mounts and battery mounts are scheduled for an upgrade in the near future. Meanwhile, the camera driver and receiver fit seamlessly into their designated mounts. A software update is anticipated soon to address any existing issues. UPDATE: Notably, the camera circuit board must be mounted upside down. To attach the landing gear, a small amount of super glue is required; eventually, they will be integrated directly into the case itself. Print settings are as follows: Printer Brand: Printrbot Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: Highest you can achieve Infill: More infill results in greater strength but added weight - it depends on what you prioritize most Post-Printing Instructions: Remove support material and assemble the parts according to your preference.
