DJI Phantom 3 gimbal camera guard template

Caution: Use this at your own risk. The printed ABS/PLA gimbal guard falls woefully short in terms of strength, making it virtually useless when the crash occurs. I designed this template with the intention of cutting CFRP. Refer to "Instructions" for detailed guidelines. In the provided pictures, the guard was made using a 1.5mm thick CFRP board. Additionally, my P3 also wears http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:890374 body sun shade and inside camera UV filter is ND8 (3 steps) filter, which significantly reduces jello effect on sunny days. This design was created utilizing OpenSCAD. Instructions Make a CFRP/FRP gimbal guard by first printing this template out, then test it on your bird. If necessary, modify the template and attach it to a CFRP/FRP board. Cut the design using a diamond blade bandsaw or handy grinder. This template provides extremely tight protection without affecting FOV, gimbal movement, or VPS sensors.
