DJI Phantom 2 Vision + WLAN Video Module Active Cooling Adaptor

It's a common issue with the DJI Phantom 2 Vision + that the WLAN/video module inside the drone overheats quickly and then dies. This happened to my Phantom 2 Vision + drone, so I purchased some expensive used replacement parts from eBay. To avoid the overheating problem, I bought a small 5V micro fan and a 5V power regulator, designed an adapter for installation, and installed it into my drone. It works perfectly! I got the fan from Voelkner.de (item A447131) and the power regulator module from eBay by searching for Pololu S9V11F5. The soldering is straightforward: Pololu Power Module: --> Connect GND to the GND (black) cable coming from the drone's battery. --> Connect VIN to the +11V (red) cable coming from the drone's battery and to the GND (black) cable of the fan. --> Connect VOUT to the +5V (red) cable of the fan. The 3D printed part is glued to the WLAN/video module with super glue. Please be aware: Do this at your own risk! I'm not responsible for any damage to your drone.
