The high-quality low-poly 3D model is the DJI Phantom 2 Quadcopter with Zenmuse H4-3D gimbal, perfectly designed for use with GoPro Hero3-4 and GoPro Hero action cameras. The detailed 3D model can be applied in various fields of 3D graphics such as game development, advertising, interior design, motion picture art, visualization, etc. Accurate modeling was done by utilizing ortho-photos of the real quadcopter, camera, and gimbal. Using this model is easy because it's made up of a small number of meshes, which means it consumes fewer system resources due to its low polygon count, and comes with four materials: one for the glass lens on the camera, one for the quadcopter itself, one for the gimbal, and one for the camera. Regardless of which renderer is used, this model will consistently look realistic thanks to the use of high-resolution photo-textures. The combination of low-polygon topology and detailed textures makes it possible to achieve a minimum amount of polygons while still getting excellent quality results. For even more realism, advanced lighting techniques can be applied using Specular, Glossiness, Bump, and Emission maps on the luminous elements of the model. For instance, screens, indicators, etc., require careful handling of the bump map by adjusting its multiplier to 0.2 in Maya Software materials or V-Ray MTL materials for Maya. This level of realism can be achieved using a total of 14 main textures, all with resolutions ranging from 2048 to 4096 pixels per square meter, saved in .png format. Additionally, original texture files are included in the archive in .PSD format. There's also a unique feature that allows for the camera to be animated by simply rotating the propeller mesh or adjusting the gimbal position with a simple rotation operation on a level group hierarchy, consisting of three levels for each hinge. The model was carefully created using Maya 2009 and accurately replicates real-world dimensions in centimeters. All parts are properly grouped and named for ease of use. Furthermore, an adjusted render-scene is included that was created using Maya 2014 with the V-Ray 2.40 renderer plugin. This scene can be easily opened in earlier versions up to Maya 2012 with V-Ray 2.0, thanks to being saved in .ma format. The render-scene includes five V-Ray Rect Light reflectors and features V-Ray MTL materials assigned to the model. Also included are scenes saved in formats such as .fbx, .obj, .DAE, and .max (2010 version) for use in other 3D programs. It's essential to note that this is a low-poly model and not designed for smoothing modifiers.
