This is a modified version of Phantom 1 housed in a Phantom 2 shell, with the LED USB board mounted externally rather than on the back door. This setup allows me to use the Phantom 2 power cord for battery and still have access to the info LED, all while keeping the original P2 shell intact. In this configuration, there may be issues connecting via USB for those who have FPV transmitters installed, which could potentially be a problem for me as well. Summary: Pros: * The external LED USB board is mounted under the rear left leg using one screw. * Cable management is improved. * There's no interference with the shell. Cons: * Possible problems using the USB cable with an FPV transmitter mounted. * A zip tie is needed to secure a cable behind the mount. For now, this setup works for me. PS: After posting this project, I realized that I had incorrectly mounted the top cover. Edit: I've modified this design to include a zip tie mount.
