I created a simple DJI Osmo Pocket GoPro mount adapter to make capturing time-lapses using a tripod easier and more convenient. The round GoPro tripod mount visible in the picture can be found on Amazon, and it's quite affordable. A suitable alternative is the General Hero Mount Adapter Black Tripod Mount Adapter for GoPro Hero 4/3+/3/2/1 (3 Pack). If there's sufficient interest, I could put these mounts up for sale on Shopify.
