I just received my LED strobe and couldn't find a mount. I'm cheap and didn't want to pay for the firehouse mount. I couldn't sleep last night so at 3am decided to make my own mount. I made it for my Mini 2 but assume it will fit the original. The led fits snug in the mount and once its installed it wouldn't fall out anyway. Its pretty easy to attach and un-attach it to the Mini 2. The mount weighs 4g and the LED weighs 13g on my scale. You will definitely be over 250g with this setup. You will also need to have some kind of landing gear to raise the Mini up high enough. Any of them should work.
