A more portable version of another tablet holder found on Thingiverse has been designed with universal holding tabs to securely grip different types of tablets. The main base features holes allowing for a firmer hold on the RC controller, providing a quick release mechanism and a two-piece base for complete disassembly when transporting. To assemble this design, use a 1/4 x 20 x 1 1/2 inch socket head bolt and a 1/4 x 20 nut for the knob. The print orientation is identical to the accompanying images. The spring used is a 3-inch tension type spring that can be adjusted by stretching it as needed. This spring mounts between two holes, using any material desired; I utilized rivets, trimming them as necessary and applying CA glue to the pin to prevent it from falling out.
