DJI Mavic Pro_Propeller Lock v1
thingiverse
This is a remix and redesign of DJI Mavic Pro propeller_Lock_NonLogo by OggiNao. Issues arose when the stl files were downloaded: missing geometry, gaps in model, etc. Deciding to redo the entire model from scratch in Sketchup, I encountered no issues. These propeller locks have no frills with no logos, grip points nor round fillets along the long edges. Designed for function as intended and keeping props from moving around during transport and storage of the Mavic Pro, they contour to the Mavic body very well and fit snugly when printed correctly. The bottom prop lock was totally redesigned because I felt the original model pushed the four props up against the belly of the drone. These props, when collapsed, do not touch the belly of the Mavic but are raised above 1/8-1/4 inch. The new design allows these props to be locked in their relaxed state without stressing the motors and arms when clipped in. On my Wanhou Maker Select Plus, I had to make minor adjustments to the X dimension to get a snug and secure fit where it clips around the arms. Print one set or individually at 20% infill to test your fit, then make necessary adjustments to the X dimension only in your slicer program. Once satisfied with the fitment, print at 100% infill. Note: If you're having issues with correct scale when importing the stl file into your slicer, try setting the scale to 2540%. This should correct the scale issue between my imperial model in Sketchup and the slicer's metric conversion. Let me know if this works. Thanks to S69D for bringing this to my attention. Update: Soon I'll be working on a version 2, slightly thicker and wider.
