Was the gimbal/camera protector woefully ineffective in protecting the gimbal plate and/or ribbon cable from damage caused by a minor hard landing? Then this is the model for you! Instead, I took inspiration from the gimbal plate designed by cambunch and filled it in. To ensure optimal results, print this model as is, using supports recommended by your slicing software. Attempting to reorient it will likely result in the pegs on the corners being ripped off. It's a good idea to print multiple copies and keep them handy in case of an emergency. You never know when you might need one. FAQ: Q: Is this model dimensionally correct? A: It probably is. Q: Is the design overkill? A: Most likely, yes. Q: Will this protect me from house fires? A: Not a chance. However, it will provide temporary protection until you can obtain a replacement from DJI.
