DJI Mavic Pro Controller Cell Phone Holder/Mount

I really loved the concept of elevating the cell phone above the Mavic Pro Controller because on my Galaxy 9+, several buttons including the home button were obstructed by the controller's side holders. So, I embarked on a search for an ideal design but couldn't find one that perfectly fit my needs. Therefore, I drew inspiration from multiple sources listed here and created a design in Tinkercad. (I would like to express my gratitude to all the contributors) My primary objective was to create a flat base plate. The Mavic's design revolves around compactness; I aimed for something equally unobtrusive. The detachable hinge, secured by an impossible joint, connects to the baseplate. If you print the hinge 1% smaller than the baseplate, it will slide in and out smoothly (moving in two planes - down and rearward) and provide exceptional security, which is crucial since I didn't want the cell phone to fall out. I'm extremely satisfied with the Hinge; it's incredibly secure within the base plate and nearly impossible to accidentally remove. I borrowed the hot-shoe GoPro mount for simplicity when mounting different clips. Initially, I encountered difficulties in printing the original spring clip, so I drew inspiration from the camera mount but remade it with smaller holes for the GoPro screw (tighter fit for security) and extended the base to elevate the phone since it was originally too low for me to access my hands behind the phone to the controller. The clip is easy to resize for any specific phone, such as the iPhone X or Galaxy 9+. Ensure your print allows the phone to slip into the holder without compressing the side buttons. You can print the hinge on multiple planes but some supports are necessary. Same goes for the clips; printing them on the side works best. The only thing you need to add is a GoPro screw, readily available on Amazon. The nut fits snugly in the hinge mount as the hot-shoe was specifically designed for it. This design is printed in ABS for strength and I recommend using high fill. Don't compress the hinge with the GoPro screw; it's not necessary since it will hold it securely and allow you to move the cell phone until you can comfortably view it. I printed it in glow-in-the-dark ABS because that was the only thing I could think of that would make this design cooler. I'm confident it can be further refined, but I've reached the extent of my abilities here.
