This shield is engineered specifically for the DJI Mavic Pro drone's camera, primarily focused on minimizing sun glare during photo shoots and video recording. It also offers protection against wind-induced shaking in the gimbal by dampening the impact, which can be particularly beneficial in small crashes that might otherwise damage the camera/gimbal assembly. One notable advantage of this shield is its design, allowing for the camera to be tilted upward at least partially without any hindrance. However, it does necessitate a small amount of support beneath the rear connector tab. Additionally, depending on your 3D printer model, such as my FlashForge Creator pro, you may also need to provide additional supports around the bottom of the rounded gimbal cover and the top of the camera cutout to ensure stability, especially when printing at finer layer heights like .18mm.
