Mavic Pro 1 Drop System Version 3 *Attention* There has been a design change to the control and light sensor. The light sensor is no longer external but the light is transmitted through an LWL cable to the control module. Should work just fine, please let me know if that's also the case. Why print yourself when you can buy ready-made systems? 1. My system is more than half lighter than the available commercial ones. 2. The weight and attachment load are centered under the copter without needing to lay out cables that might get caught in the propellers. 3. My light sensor fits perfectly on the Mavic Pro & Pro Platinum. Is there a drop box for small items like fish food or confetti? The box is secured with only 2 screws and can be mounted in seconds. However, filling it can be a bit tricky... Printed with an enlarged Ender 2, 100% infill, support active, You'll need: - Drop control system (see pictures). It doesn't matter which one you buy, just make sure it works with the light controller! Google can help you find one. - 1x Micro Servo SG90 - 4x M3x5mm screws - Battery clips - 5 nails 1.4x25mm and a bit of DIY flair... The assembly should be self-explanatory based on the pictures. The sensor and servo cables have been shortened. Have fun with it and don't forget to disable the lower sensors ;-). If someone finds or develops a control system for this, it would be great if you could let me know so I can post a link. The only thing you need from the commercial kit is the sensor and the controller. On request, I can print out the parts for you. Just don't expect me to have all day to do it ;-). Planned changes: - Somehow make the doors "fed" so they open completely sideways. Currently, the hanging doors are a nuisance during landing. A glued-on rubber bumper helps but doesn't look good. - Make filling the box easier. Unfortunately, I haven't come up with an idea yet.
